Vincent J. Adams Sr.
Vincent J. Adams Sr. age 73 passed away on February 15, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born on December 5, 1948 in Elgin Illinois to Vincent H. and Pauline Adams.
He married his beloved wife Diane Lockwood on July 24, 1970 in Woodstock Illinois and they enjoyed 51 wonderful years together.
Vincent proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 stationed in Germany. Later in life he worked for Tonyan Brothers as a gravel truck operator, retiring after 35 years with the company. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids who meant the world to him.
He is survived by his loving wife: Diane Adams; his three children: Vince Adams Jr., Renee M. Adams and Robin M. Adams (Steve Kroncke),: his grandchildren: Ryan (Ashley),Bukovsky, Rachelle Hoppe, Mia and Savanna Kroncke; his great-grandchild: Cameron Bukovsky and his sister in-law Donna (Howard) Mikkali.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Vincent H. and Pauline Adams.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11 am to 1:30pm at Colonial Funeral Home 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry Illinois. Funeral service will begin in the funeral home chapel at 1:30pm and will be followed by interment at McHenry Country Memorial Park in Woodstock, IL.
